Vision medical software

Adaptive and intuitive, Vision facilitates smarter working for today’s healthcare professionals.

Simple and innovative

As a technology company, we’re always seeking to improve our product, listening to users and innovating ahead of the competition to deliver the best experience on the market.

Anytime, anywhere

Use the device you have with you, wherever you are. Modern apps for Windows, smartphones and tablets provide 24/7 access.

Designed for shared care

Vision medical software helps healthcare professionals work together, share information and care for patients across the healthcare landscape.

Designed to make life easier, not get in the way.

“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs

IT systems should not distract or interfere with the delivery of healthcare services. They should enhance the experience for the patient and the healthcare provider. This is why we dedicate so much effort to user experience design (UX).

Modern and innovative

Although we design Vision for touch screens, each user can ‘drive’ how they prefer. Touch, keyboard or mouse. You choose.

‘Why?’ before ‘How?’

Rather than modernise old features, we are re-imagining the whole Vision experience. Our goal is to simplify and de-clutter systems so they are easy to learn and use.

We know the NHS is changing and patient needs are evolving. We’ve reignited our drive for ground-breaking products to design a system that enables collaboration, localisation and prevention.

An outstanding customer experience.

Vision medical software takes healthcare provision to the next level, so you’re always one step ahead.

Many healthcare IT systems used by the NHS have become more complex over time. This growth in complexity leads to confusion for users.

Software should be intuitive and you must be able to find what you need, when you need it. We build solutions that avoid the complexities that other systems seem to pack in.

The Vision interface is simple and free from clutter. We use reductive design to make sure everything has a purpose and is relevant to the job in hand.

An outstanding customer experience is at the heart of everything we say and do.

Why Richmond GP Alliance chose Vision for its federated appointment service

Extended hours appointments

The Richmond General Practice Alliance (RGPA) uses Vision software to offer extended hours appointments. Appointments at four care hubs can be booked  from 08:00 to 20:00 seven days a week. The project makes 1,100 additional appointments available each week. As a result, the outcomes and health of the Richmond population are improving.

Sharing appointments and patient records

Receptionists across Richmond can book any patient into an extended hours appointment. GPs working at the four care hubs can see all 200,000 patient records. The GPs like it because they can see full patient records for everyone.

Interoperable systems

There are 22 practices in Richmond using Vision and 5 running EMIS. The RGPA was the first UK GP federation to have interoperability between the two systems.

“Vision provided an innovative solution that delivers end-to-end interoperability. It has enabled considerable benefits for patients. The volume of paper flowing through the system is lower so patient care is quicker and safer.”

Grant Oliver, IT Project Manager for Richmond GP Alliance
