Integrated Spirometry Systems
SpiroConnect is a fabulous PC based spirometer that integrates seamlessly with Vision. It is designed by the inventor of the original turbine spirometer, Chris Lawson, Micro Medical’s Technical Director for 27 years. With its patented vertical turbine, this new and improved turbine spirometer is more sensitive to the low flow rates seen in COPD and Asthma patients. What’s more, it is the most comprehensively integrated with Vision, automatically entering the patient’s details into the SpiroConnect software from the clinical system at the start of the test, and filing over 40 user selectable Read codes and a spirometry report (PDF format) with a single button click at the end of the test. Performing spirometry tests could not be simpler!
The fully integrated SpiroConnect spirometry system offers many advantages to the practice. The spirometry test process is faster. Intelligent Integration Interface
I3 is a piece of software that acts as a link between the InPS Vision clinical system and a range of diagnostic products from Numed Healthcare (ECG systems, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor and Spirometer). The patient’s details are automatically extracted by the I3 software from the clinical system and entered into the diagnostic test software at the start of the test. On test completion, all required Read codes and test reports (PDF format) are automatically filed back to the patient’s medical record with a single button click. Performing ECG, ABPM and Spirometry tests could not be simpler!

Integrated Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABPM) System
Mobil-O-Graph is a Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor that integrates seamlessly with Vision. Mobil-O-Graph has achieved the highest possible A/A grade for accuracy from The British Hypertension Society. It has an ‘intelligent cuff inflation’ protocol which is extremely comfortable and quiet for the patient, resulting in significantly improved test compliance. The patient’s details are automatically extracted from the clinical system and entered into the ABPM software when setting up the recorder. On completion of the test, up to 6 user selectable blood pressure Read codes and a detailed A4 hypertension report (PDF format) are automatically filed back to the patient’s medical record with a single button click. From my experience with the devices over the past 5 months I am saving a substantial amount of time performing reversibility with the Spiroconnect, around 12 minutes. I am creating high quality diagnostic ECGs with the Universal ECG system and the Mobilograph ABPM is easier to use, more comfortable for my patients, quieter, uses rechargeable batteries (therefore substantially cheaper per patient) and again places all the data seamlessly into the patient record. All of these benefits allow me to spend more time nursing, managing the patient and I am happy to say that I would fully recommend these devices.”
